With the advent of multiple Hybrid vehicles, it's become apparent that pedestrians, both sighted and not, will have to be ever so careful! When Hybrid vehicles are operating in electric mode, you can barely hear them running. Good for the owner of the Hybrid, watch out everyone else! In a noisy world, where a lot of us learn to tune things out, this is one time we'll have to dial in. So whether you're walking behind a parked car in a shopping center, or crossing the road, please be more vigilant about looking before you step out. And to you Hybrid owners, please be careful when backing up, and at intersections. Let's all work together to improve our carbon footprint, and keep pedestrians safe!
